Sunrise Photo Session at Jacksonville Beach

I had the pleasure of photographing the Eid family for a stunning sunrise photo session. This is not the first time I have worked with this family. A few years ago, I photographed the mother and it’s been a delight to watch her family grow. Coming from Pennsylvania for their summer vacation in St. Augustine, Florida – mom wanted to work with me again!

We decided on a sunrise beach photo shoot to take advantage of optimal lighting conditions and avoid the day’s heat. Leading up to that day, I advised her on wardrobe selection for each member of her family. Mom got her dress from one of my favorite shops, Baltic Born. Her two daughters’ dresses were from Amazon. The dad and son were able to find pieces from their own closets to blend with the color scheme.

Parent and son at family photo session on the beach — I always advise parents to take photos with each of their children by themselves. These intimate shots are so important because you can see the dynamic between the individual child and the parents. People normally forget about this shot, but it is crucial especially as they leave the nest.
